Digital Channel Accessibility

In 2025, a legal obligation on the accessibility of digital channels to the private sector will come into force.

Be ready early🤓!

Lundegaard has many years of experience with a solution for digital channel accessibility.

We also work for Czech public administrations, where accessibility has been mandated since 2019.

Thanks to this long experience, we have deep know-how not only in legislative requirements but also in their practical implementation.

Our accessibility audits and consultations go far beyond the usual checks - we identify not only formal deficiencies, but also real barriers that prevent users from using digital services effectively.

We can advise on how to improve accessibility not only technically, but also in design and content, outperforming most competitors.

We can establish cooperation with non-profit organizations for the disabled

Working with these organisations, associations and communities allows us to gain a deeper understanding of the needs of these people and their barriers in the digital environment.

Through this collaboration, we design accessible digital channels that meet inclusive design standards and reflect the real experiences of users with specific limitations. We use user testing and proven methodologies to ensure intuitive navigation, ease of use and equal access to key features for all users.

We have already automated a number of workflows. We would be happy to teach you.

We carefully follow all the necessary rules in terms of perceivability, manageability, clarity and stability.

The project is then a semi-automated process consisting of tools such as Total Validator, Accessibility Insights, Wave or Silktide.

Of course, we cannot rely on automata alone, we bring a human touch to the assessment, improving the stack of applications used and making us efficient in line with the latest requirements.

How can we help you resolve this legal obligation?

We can deliver all or only partial activities of the whole process.

We will carry out an audit and consultation

We will prepare a complete audit.

We will assess whether the website or digital product complies with EAA and WCAG accessibility standards.

You will receive a clear audit report describing all non-compliant aspects.

We will help you to create a plan for modifications.

Our consultant can be involved at the beginning of the project, but also at any time during the project, depending on whether you implement the changes with your team or have everything made by us.

We will suggest design improvements

We will look at the colour contrast.

We will ensure clarity and consistency of visual expression.

Suggest/recommend clarity of information architecture.

We will take into account the full range of possible failures and limitations.

Ensure appropriate legibility and accessible input and controls.

We can act as a consultant working with your design team or we can redesign on a turnkey basis.

We will design an implementation solution

Correctly set up the output structured source code.

We will verify the availability of all interactive elements using only the keyboard.

We do not forget about alternative texts.

We set up accessibility for multimedia (audio and video).

Ensure appropriate readability and accessible input and controls.

We ensure adaptation to the target needs (responsiveness) - e.g. the possibility to increase or decrease the size of the presentation within the browser without losing information.

We will prepare guidelines and train you

At the beginning of the project, we will train designers and developers on accessibility rules and principles - POUR

We deliver guidelines according to the latest trends and news from interest groups.

We will teach you how to continuously test and monitor compliance with the WCAG standard.

We will help you integrate accessibility methodology into the delivery process (design reviews and code reviews, QA testing) - what to do, when and how to do it.

Who have we helped with accessibility?

Moneta Money Bank

Moneta Money Bank is one of the largest Czech banks. The new web portal moneta.cz has set among its primary goals to strengthen the business performance of this digital sales channel.

I help companies make their websites and applications accessible to everyone.

At Lundegaard, we have been systematically focusing on accessibility for several years. That’s why I can confidently say that accessibility is not just another unnecessary obligation—it’s a great opportunity.

In the Czech Republic, approximately 26% of the population has some form of disability or limitation that makes it difficult for them to use websites. That’s around 2.8 million potential customers who may prefer your website or other digital channels because they are more accessible.

Seize this opportunity and open your digital channels to everyone!
